    My friend is expecting a granddaughter on Halloween. She asked me to make a duck for her but I think I’ve made enough of those so I steered her to this delightful bunny instead. She’s turned out pretty well. I overstuffed the arms so she looked like a bit of a bruiser to begin with, but after pulling some stuffing out with a crochet hook she looks more ladylike. I had a cream ribbon in the bonnet at first but it didn’t look right and detracted from the buttons so I crocheted an icord instead. Baby won’t be able to play with her until she is a bit older because of the eyes, buttons and icord but hopefully she can keep a watchful eye from a nursery shelf until then.
