    About

My colleague lent me the Rowan book 'little luxury knits', I haven't knitted with mohair before, and I found this really difficult, I had to start over several times. I'd put this project down for a while after only doing about 10cm but picked it up a couple of weeks ago. So it's ready just in time for my Mom's birthday.

    Pattern

Rowan gathering scarf in kidsilk haze

    This pattern is from:
    Little luxury knits

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 6.50mm (US 10.5) 30cm

    Accessories

    Other : Clear glass beads.

    Measurements

Notes: I would have liked it to be a bit longer so I would order 2 balls instead of 1.

Yes that's it the one, I'd get 2 balls my scarf wasn't that long really.

Well done. I have some kidsilk and I have started to knit with it at least half a dozen times. It goes wrong every time and I have given up now.

It was the same with me, you have to knit really loosely and pull down the stitches so you can get your other needle in, if you're doing k4tog for example. Try again and see how you get on?

It's beautiful and a gorgeous rose pink colour. I only use kidsilk for knitting in with 4ply so I can image how difficult knitting singular. Well done a real achievement.
