    About

    I originally bought this yarn for a different colour work project but changed my mind about the pattern I intended to use. Loved the geometric design on this pattern but was a bit apprehensive after downloading it as it was knit top down, something I’d always avoided as I thought it would be too complicated. How wrong I was! It was a really easy pattern to knit and I’m so pleased with the result. The added bonus is absolutely no sewing up apart from weaving in the ends. Great project!

    Notes: The only significant alteration I made was to omit the short rows on the lower back which gives a scooped finish to the back hem as I wanted a straight hem. Any other alterations were for fit. I needed a longer raglan, wider sleeves and longer body length. These were all really easy to amend with good instructions on the pattern. My finished jumper is a combination of sizes but I love the fit.
