I fell out of love with this project and finally cast off today after it’s languished in my bag for months. It’s a lovely pattern I just don’t like mine!
Oo. I'm sorry you don't like it - I think it's beautiful! How did you enjoy using the WYS yarn, though? - I'm thinking of it for an heirloom blanket.
At the very least, do give yourself a halo for finishing the project. If it'd been me, it would have sat reproachfully in the cupboard for the rest of time... Like that cutaway style cardigan from 1988... Guilt guilt...
Thank you.
I’m not really a fan of thin yarn but it was ok with this project as it wasn’t knitted with really thin needles. I think the yarn would look better if blocked but I didn’t bother, mainly because it’d gone off it.
@Crafty Little Knits: You might go right back on it if you blocked it :) Not to blow my own trumpet, but if you look at the 'before' and 'after' from the [expletive deleted] baby blanket I made in Dolcezza you can see how huge the difference is. I'm sure you already know that though.
