    About

I love the sleepy sheep/pig/unicorn etc from Olive’s Toy Box - and love james C Brett Flutterby yarn - so when Ana asked if I would make something for her friend’s baby this was my suggestion.

Made another one almost immediately after (Nov 15-Dec 1) as it is coming up to Dec 5 when the children here in Holland receive gifts from Sint - and my neighbours have a wee boy who is 8 months old so thought I’d like to give a sheep as a gift.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 6.00mm (US 10)
    • Crochet Hook 3.25mm (US 3)
    • Crochet Hook 4.50mm (US 7)

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stuffing
    • Stitch Markers

    Measurements

    37cm (blue). 45cm (white(

Notes: I crochet tight so if i make the comforted as per the pattern the body is is very short and the head tiny - so there are about an extra 8 rounds in the body - and 4 or 5 in the head. The pattern suggests 4mm hook for the Flutterby - i used a 6mm ...

For the white one i did exactly the same as the blue one - same make/types of yarn, same hooks, same extra rounds - and it turned out considerably bigger!
