The sweater is very soft because it uses Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino. Instead of weaving in all the ends of all those stripes, I drew some inspiration from the steeking technique and ran fine stitches using my sewing machine across the ends of the rows to catch the yarn, and then just cut off the yarn ends. The row ends seem very stable and I don’t expect there will be any unravelled yarns. A much neater, easier finishing with this technique.
