    About

This is the 1st doll I've made so I learned a lot, and the pattern was great. This is stuffed toy 1 of at least 10 toys I am planning to make for a story book project. The project will include stuffed toys and story panels with pockets for paperback books. It's just lots of fun to combine patterns and make cute things.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 2.25mm (US 1)

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Buttons
    • Stuffing
Other : Two 8mm safety eyes (pattern calls for 12mm)
Pins for aligning/sewing hair in place
Electrical wire (14 gauge) so doll is posable

    Measurements

    9" tall

Notes: I was trying to make a smaller size doll than the pattern so used tighter stitches.

This doll pattern was so cute so when I saw the free Red Heart pillow pattern for Red Riding Hood I went a little bonkers planning a story book project. I am just so relieved they are all turning out better than I had hoped.

Thanks! She really is adorable. I plan to modify this same pattern to make a Goldilocks doll. I am starting the wolf toy tonight.
