    About

A long-awaited birthday gift! Had a long break due to difficulty with the pattern but shouldn't have left it as it turned out to be not that bad! I think the problem got amplified with time!
It looked as though the hat would be too long and slouchy so I shortened it only to find that I couldn't work out where the pattern repeat was as it was written out row by row verbatim!
Finally completed and posted...it remains to be seen if it fits or gets worn?
The hat is knit flat and seamed.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 4.00mm (US 6)

    Measurements

Notes: Unisex pattern but states med/large. It was definitely on the large size when I'd finished but I did change up to 4mm needles as I tend to knit tightly.
I bought 2 balls but it used 1 (completely) - dont think I'll be making another one!
The rowan tweed was too weak for mattress stitch sewing up (perhaps I pull too tightly?) so had to use another DK yarn
