    About

    I knitted this pattern last year and the jumper became one of my favourites over the winter - I wore it at least twice a week so always wanted to make another in a different colour. I used stash yarn and was amazed at how little I used, just under 2 balls of each colour. Very pleased with the finished jumper.

    Notes: Had to use 3.75mm needles to get gauge, I put the waist shaping in the side seams instead of darts and knitted ribs on the cuffs and hem instead of the folded hem on the pattern. Did a tubular cast off on the ribs which were knitted on 3.25mm needles.

        Thank you Tamara, you should go for it. It’s a great pattern, although all stocking stitch the stripes and shaping keep it interesting.

        Thank you, I love the fit. I am getting better at forward planning so that I can get a good fit. Doesn’t always work though! I have so many past mistakes that end up being donated.
