I've been knitting since I was seven years old (a very long time ago!), but didn't start seriously designing until a few years ago when my first grandchild was born. My daughter asked me to make a tiny aran sweater, but she couldn't find anything she liked when she browsed patterns. So that's how the Aisling sweater came about, then the Liam, and all the others. I've been asked to design man-sized sweaters, a much bigger project of course, so will be working on those this coming winter!
