winter wonderland for home with Valley Yarns White Pines (Knit) using Northampton
and Bluebell held together throughout. These festive and sparkly trees come in
a variety of sizes, so you can create a forest that adds a magical touch to any
room. Valley Yarns Northampton is a workhorse yarn that you’ll come back to
time and time again, and, combined with Bluebell from Sesia, an elegant blend of
mohair, silk, and sparkling makes your winter wonderland feel like it is covered
with snow! The cable patterns are charted.
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Sizes: XS (S, M, L)
Finished Measurements:
Height – Approximately 4½ (7½, 11¾, 15¼)”
Base Circumference – Approximately 6¼ (9½, 12, 16¾)”
Yarn Requirements: to make one tree for each size
2 skeins Valley Yarns Northampton (100% Wool; 100g/247yds) shown in 01 White
3 balls Sesia Bluebell (42% Mohair/ 40% Polyester/ 18% Silk; 25g/136yds) shown in 0051 Pearly White or 1234 Blue Sky
Needles: US 7 (4.50mm) DPNs or 40” circular (for Magic Loop method) to get gauge
Other Materials: Styrofoam cones to fit finished trees or polyfill if you prefer to stuff them
Gauge: 19 sts and 27 rows = 4” in stocking stitch with one strand of each yarn held together
