Product Details

Chic style and classic tweed combine in Valley Yarns Winesap, a cosy vest with a stranded colourwork hem. Worthington blends wool, alpaca, and viscose to create a soft, heathered yarn with tweedy texture and cosy warmth. Your project begins with a ribbed hem worked in the round that frames the deep stranded colourwork motif that transitions to the main body. The vest continues in the round to the underarms, where the back and front are worked flat separately with integrated armhole trims before joining at the shoulder with short seams. A contrasting colour ribbed neckband provides a clean finish to Winesap and has it ready to layer over anything from tees to buttondowns or dresses for a dash of timeless style and warmth. Stranded colourwork pattern is charted only.
