Product Details
This hat has three separate layers that surround the head and ears with extra warmth while a lacy top allows for more air flow.
Size: adult (21”) and child (16.5”) approximate. Yarn: I suggest a worsted weight wool for the adult and a sport weight for the childs.
You will need approximately 80 yards for each layer. Samples shown uses Gems Worsted wt. and Sport wt. by Louet.
Needles: 2 sets of 20” circular and 1 set of double pointed. Size US 7 - 9 for the adult and US 4 - 6 for the child, depending on your gauge.
Gauge: 5(6) sts and 7.5(9) rows per inch in stockinette stitch.
mb: (make bobble), K1, P1, K1 into next stitch. Turn. K3. Slip 2nd and 3rd stitches over 1st.
