Product Details
As with the Celine Cowl and Marlene Cardigan, this little leaf lace stitch pattern lends itself nicely as an elegant embellishment to an otherwise streamlined design.
This lovely pair of fingerless gloves are incredibly soft, and make for a great gift and stash-buster!
They are knit seamlessly in the round, starting with a few inches of wrist ribbing.
As the lace panel begins, the ribbing is continued on the palm side for a nice fit. Stitches are put on hold for the bottom of the thumb opening, with cast on stitches for the top. After the lace is completed with the top ribbing, the thumb is completed in ribbing.
Photos are included to help explain the thumbhole technique.
Lace is both charted and written out.
Each pair of gloves only uses 105-170 yds of fingering-weight yarn. Instructions include two sizes and both lengths. Shown in DROPS Alpaca yarn.
