Can be crocheted in larger or smaller size. The size depends on the thickness of the yarn and the chosen hook.

YARN

Any DK (3) weight yarn or thicker one. I use 100% cotton, 105 m (115 yrd) / 50 gr The bulkier the yarn, the bigger your square will be. You can crochet with bulky or medium sizes yarn to make this square bigger, if you want.

I am crochet very tight so I use crochet hook 4 mm. And I am get 4,6 x 4,6 size square with suggested yarn and hook.
