Product Details
This pattern is suitable for improving beginners. Using the same basic pattern, you can make 2 styles of hat and 2 styles of cowl. These are a bobble hat, a double bobble hat, a slouchy cowl and a structured cowl.
The pattern is worked flat in a large rectangle and is folded and sewn up to shape. You will be using the UK half treble stitch (US half double) to compete this project.
Full written and photographic instructions are given for the UK half treble (US half double) stitch, for the various steps of construction and for the seaming up instructions for all 4 styles. The pattern is downloadable as either US or UK terms.
Instructions are given for 7 sizes, from a head circumference of 48 cm (Small child/Toddler) through to 61cm (Adult XL).
You will need approximately 105 m (1.5 balls of Scheepjes Stone Washed/Riverwashed XL) for the Child’s small size, moving to 3 balls for the Adult M-XL sizes.
You will need ~20g of extra yarn in a contrasting colour for the bobble.
