Carol Sulcoski graciously designed this beautiful Maplewood Cardigan for the Valley Yarns 40th Anniversary Guest Designer series. Made for warmer weather, this simple open-front cardi was designed in a DK weight yarn with a loose-fitting body and barely-there cap sleeves. To save time in the knitting and finishing, the cardigan is constructed in one piece from the lace edging up, with only two short seams at the shoulder.
