When using a DK weight yarn, Mudsdale works up to be about 25cm long and 18cm tall. I would put this pattern into an intermediate to hard difficulty as you would need to be able to join slightly complex pieces together to make the indented hooves, nostrils and tail gaps.
The pattern has images along the entire way to help you through the process.
