A butterfly is a fun and fast project, great to use up any scraps you have lying around.

These 5 to 8 cm butterflies were made on 1.25 mm dpn in lace-gauged yarn, but can be done in a heavier yarn and will turn out slightly larger. For the antennae you’ll need some sewing yarn and hair spray or gel. These are an easy, flat knit with intarsia and striped color work and i-cords.
