Across the Diamond blanket is fun to knit with super bulky weight yarn.
FIVE BLANKET SIZES:
XL: 48” wide x 52” long
Large: 41” wide x 47” long
Medium: : 37.5” wide x 42” long
Small: 34” wide x 37” long
Baby: 30.5” wide x 32” long
Any of size may be made longer by adding pattern repeats. Each pattern repeat adds about 5” to length of blanket.
SUPER BULKY #6 WEIGHT YARN:
XL: 1000 - 1100 yards
Large: 740 - 800 yards
Medium: 620 - 670 yards
Small: 500 - 540 yards
Baby: 380 - 410 yards
This pattern will work well with many super bulky weight yarns.
You may also experiment with knitting two strands of bulky or worsted weight yarn together…remember you will need about twice as much yardage!
Texture of the pattern will show up best with solid color yarns.
Knit flat, in one piece, back and forth on US size 13 circular knitting needles.
