What you'll need
Product Details
Fun hoodie, made to look as if offcuts of a large-flowered fabric had been randomly pieced together. It features intarsia, a rounded drawstring hood, a knit-in tubular pocket, saddle shoulders and square indented sleeves.
Modular construction, so no seams! Everything is pieced together on the go. Only the fold-over edge of the hood requires a few simple handstitches.
Also included is a pattern for a simple snood to keep out chill winds.
Skills required: knit, purl, standard incs and decs, pick up stitches, basic intarsia technique. The three-needle bind-off is explained in the pattern, also wrap-and-turn short rows.
Because all four sizes are fully and separately charted, the pattern has many pages - don't worry, you needn't print out everything!
Many thanks to Gerd Sycha for photographing.
