Product Details
Last year my dad asked me to make him a scarf. He picked out a stitch pattern he liked and we picked out yarn. A few months later, before I started the scarf, I was showing him the colors he picked, which included a dark blue. He asked me why there wasn't any maize to go with it. I went in search of new yarn so that his scarf would be maize and blue. My dad is always a Michigan Wolverine. Whatever your allegiance, I hope this scarf will help you show your true colors. (And from my dad, "Go Blue!")
The pattern is very flexible, you can adjust the length and width of your scarf, and you can use any yarn weight from fingering to bulky. Most importantly, if you add fringe, there are no ends to sew in!
The scarf uses only basic stitches and a one row repeat. There is also a picture tutorial for the scarf and fringe.
I made the scarf with We Crochet/ Knit Pick’s Hawthorne and an E (3.5 mm) hook. The scarf can be made with yarn of a different weight and corresponding hook.
