Amala blanket

The Amala baby blanket is the perfect homemade gift for a newborn baby, as a babyshower present, made with love. The triangle pattern is knit using the intarsia technique, which on one hand has the advantage of limiting yarn usage for the different colours and keeping the backside neat and tiday, and on the other hand makes the blanket safe for use even for very small babies - ensuring thus that their fingers don't get stuck in the loops on the backside.

You can easily modify the size of the blanket by simply adding a row or two of triangles, in the length or width.
