Say hello to Amethyst, she loves to play all kinds of games, but jumping games are her favourite. Amethyst is a great friend, and only occasionally gets into mischief! She is a unicorn who can easily stand alone, with a gorgeous curly mane and tail.
This pattern is written with US crochet notation and is an intermediate pattern, some crochet knowledge of basic stitches is required.
Using the materials suggested this unicorn measures 24cm (9.5 inches). Any yarn can be used with this pattern with an appropriate sized crochet hook to create a tight tension, although other yarns may affect the size of the finished unicorn. Suggested materials: DK (8ply) 100% cotton yarn, 3mm and 2.5mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and 9mm safety eyes.

I found this pattern difficult to follow at times. There are a few places in the pattern where stitch count doesn't add up using simple math. The pattern wants you to make 4 legs but your first one is greatly differing in stitch circumference. The pattern has promise but a second pass by the creator would have greatly improved the process and saved the buyer time, tears, and headaches.
