The 4th in my collection of 12 scarves for 2014; April weather is unpredictable here in the UK. I wanted to use a 4 ply yarn for this month’s design but decided it still had to be warm enough for the cold spells of weather. So I combined my favourite ‘diamonds’ with a shell pattern to give more density to the fabric of the scarf. I was quite pleased with the combination of stitches, I hope you like them too. As made to the pattern the scarf measures 16½cm (6½”) wide by 170cm (67”) long when blocked. The pattern is written in English and US crochet terms, and is charted
