On the construction: This pattern is knitted both flat and in the round, starting from the sole of the slipper. The slipper is felted for durability. To add more comfort an insole is knitted to size. The pattern is worked in German Short Rows.
Sizes: Sizes are written using EU standards. Please refer to this page for UK and US conversion. Sizes are indicative as the felting process may vary your result. Women(Men) = 34-36, 37-39, 40-42(38-40, 41-43, 44-46)
UK: 3-4, 4.5-6.5, 7-8(5.5-7, 7.5-8.5, 10-12) US: 3.5-4.5, 5-7, 7-9(6-7.5, 8-9, 10-12)
Yarn: 3, Light (DK, Sport) Drops ALASKA (100% wool, 50g/1.8oz = 70m/77yds)
Yarn Requirements: About 1 Skein 50g/1.8oz
Tension: In Stst, 17 sts and 22 rows = 10cm/4inch
