Product Details
Arianrhod is the Celtic goddess of rebirth and the weaving together of fate and time. Her name translates loosely as "silver wheel", representing the ever-turning wheel of the seasons. She is also symbolized by the moon and twining ivy, found in the motifs on these socks.
These socks are knit from the top (cuff) down in the round. They feature a wheel-shaped pattern on the cuff extending onto the leg, as well as a central panel of lacy ivy vines down the front and back of the leg, and onto the top of the foot.
You will need approximately 400-425 yards of fingering-weight yarn to knit these socks as written. If you plan to extend the length of the leg and/or foot, be aware you'll need more yardage.
These socks are also included as part of the Legendary Knits volume 2 collection of patterns.
