Say hello to Arlo. This cute little 3-banded armadillo loves to play in the dry grasslands, but when things get a bit much he curls up into a ball and looks absolutely adorable!
This pattern is written with US crochet notation and is an intermediate level pattern, some crochet knowledge of basic stitches is required. Not recommended for complete beginners, but the pattern does include step by step instructions and pictures to help you.
Using the materials suggested the armadillo measures 16cm (6¼in) tall. Any yarn can be used with this pattern with an appropriate size crochet hook to create a tight tension, although other yarns may affect the size of the finished armadillo. Suggested materials: 4ply 100% cotton yarn, 2.5mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and 7mm safety eyes. Please do not copy, reproduce or sell this pattern. This pattern is for personal use only.
