These simple, ribbed Valley
Yarns Basic Heel-Flap Socks are a perfect match for any colourful sock yarn and
make a great, portable project. Knit in Valley Yarns Franklin Hand Dyed by the
Kangaroo Dyer, which comes in lovely colours, soft and durable, you will want to
knit a pair (or more) in every colour. This knitting pattern includes both
directions for a specific gauge and a more general formula in case you’d like
to alter it.
Finished Measurements: 7 (8, 9)” circumference – shown in size 8”
Yarn Requirements: 1 hank Valley Yarns Franklin Hand-Dyed by the
Kangaroo Dyer (75% Wool/25% Nylon; 100g/450yds) shown in Spruce
Needles: US size 0 (2.00mm) DPNs
Gauge: 32 sts = 4” in stocking stitch in the round
