Product Details
This pattern includes written and charted instructions.
This pattern is written for a shawlette (shown in photos), shawl, or scarf.
The scarf is worked as one continuous piece. The shawl style is worked in two pieces and joined using a kitchener stitch.
Choosing Yarn For the Shawl Version If you substitute yarn make sure to pick something that will block out nicely. A 100% merino or other wool fiber is recommended. Plant fibers (cotton, bamboo, linen, etc.) are not advised because they will not bloom and retain the necessary shawl shape during blocking.
Choosing Yarn for the Scarf Since the scarf does not need to be pulled and stretched into shape like the shawl you have more freedom of yarn choice.
