Product Details
A unisex sweater, knit in the round from the hem up. The body is cast on circular needles and worked up to the armholes. This is then set aside and the sleeves are worked from the cuff up to the armholes. The pieces are then joined in the round and the stranded colorwork yoke is shaped with concentric decreases to the neck.
Inspiration: From the Scandinavian folktale, the hero Beowulf comes to the rescue of the king of the Danes, whose hall has been under the attack of the monster Grendel. One of the first epic poems of Anglo-Saxon literature, Beowulf's tale is a classic one of good defeating evil against great odds.
This sweater is also available in the Legendary Knits, volume 2, collection.
