Product Details
Beyond the Wild Wood is a wrap yourself in comfort cardigan to live in.
It's another Ziggurat & like all Ziggurats is knitted:
- in one piece
- top-down
- seamless
- shoulders, sleeve caps, & front bands knitted in one sweep
- built-in slanted pockets
- set-in sleeves knit in the round
- optional bust darts (4 sizes from Smallish to Wowza!)
- collar can be worn up or down
- photo tutorial for the pocket
NOTE: Here's a link to the Winding Cast On that's missing from the Helpful Links in the pattern.
The pockets are knitted similar to those on Messing About in Boats, but are slanted & quite on the sly.
A fisherman's rib collar, hem & arched cuff add interesting texture & structure. The flaring rib collar is knitted on last, as are the last rows of pocket lining.
Not a seam in sight. Honest.
