Product Details
These amazing socks originated from a tea cosy believe it or not. The zig-zag pattern is an eight stitch Fair Isle chart I took directly from one of my tea cosies. Happily it fitted neatly into the sock designs. An eight ply boot sock pattern for adults and a four ply sock pattern for children. Both pairs of socks are knee high and very warm as the yarn not in use is carried across the back of the work. As with any sock you can extend or shorten the foot to tailor the sock to individual needs. I have also added a little ribbed cuff at the ankle to help with a neat fit. Don’t be put off by what looks like a complicated design, you are only working with two colours at once and the result is really great as you can see.
