Product Details
The inspiration for this design came from the Burberry pattern. A blanket that can be knit using just 3 colours of your choice, or for a very different effect you can use multiple colours, a great way to use up your stash. A small sample has been provided showing variations of 4 colours (also based on the Burberry colours). However please note; if using more than 3 colours, you will need to cut the yarn when changing to colours, and then weave in the ends.
The sample blanket is knit in Cascade Longwood. This yarn is classified as a Worsted weight yarn, however any yarn can be used, bearing in mind the finer the yarn the smaller the blanket. This pattern is easily adjusted to be worked to any size you wish. Suitable alternative yarns are MillaMia Naturally Soft Aran also Debbie BlisssCashmerino Aran.
