Product Details

Do you fancy knitting an attractive Bluebell Tea Cosy for your teapot to wear this spring?

The main part of the bluebell cosy is bark green and worked in a loose cable stitch called sand cables. The cabling gives  the impression of density of the woodland floor. On top four stems of bluebells are apliqued on. The bluebell flowers themselves are small and delicate, each having six curled petals.

The bluebell tea cosy is a simple design that makes it rather elegant and the use of cables and makes the cosy look fresh and modern.

The stems of the flowers are made with icords, instructions are given as well as links to Youtube videos of how to do it. The icords are worked on double pointed needles, but you can make them on straight needles too. If the thought of double pointed needles terrifies you, you only use two of them, and it's not like using DPN at all.

Come on, spring into action and knit yourself this delightful bluebell tea cosy and enjoy beautiful blue blooms.
