Boden Inspired Sock

This pattern only has four rows, and 4 stitches to the pattern, which makes it easy to memorise and a very portable project. Foot circumference can be adjusted by casting on required number of stitches using a multiple of 4, or, using a smaller of larger set of needles. Foot length is adjustable too, however, if making a larger size sock then more yarn will be required (150g). As a guide, the gauge is 8sts per inch measured over stockinette stich and 12 rows measured to 1" measured over pattern stitch. The sock is a top-down construction, with a heel flap and turn - wide toe shaping. The cuff is knit using K2, P2 rib and this too is adjustable if you wish to create a deeper cuff. The pattern stitch creates a very textured sturdy fabric - be brave for Spring/Summer and try knitting this design in a cotton or bamboo mix sock yarn.
