Product Details
This pattern contains full instructions for knitting and finishing off a little monkey boy with a patterned sweater and shorts. Included are 2 options for the sweater - the first uses stranded/Fair Isle technique and 2 colours on each row, the second uses slipped stitches and rows of alternating colour to create the pattern.
The file contains 50 detailed step-by-step photographs along with full pattern instructions and tips for stuffing, seaming and finishing neatly.
The pattern is for knitting flat on two needles and all pieces are seamed afterwards. Please note that this project is not a quick or simple knit. It takes me around 14 hours to knit and finish each of the animals that I make and just under half of that time is spent on the finishing off. There are lots of separate pieces which require seaming and sewing.
Shown in Malabrigo Rios in Coco (Yarn A), King Cole Cottonsoft DK in Oyster (Yarn B). Rowan Wool Cotton 4ply in Rich and Spring (sweater) and BC Garn Allino (shorts).
