Product Details
This cowl is perfect as your very first brioche project. Knitting brioche stitch in the round is easier than knitting it flat as you always knit the knits and purl the purls. I have included instructions for your very first cowl using just one single colour. Then, when you are confident with that you can move onto the two-colour version.
Brioche stitch goes really well with garter stitch so I have started and finished this cowl with a few rounds. I find I tend to cast off quite loosely and the tops of my cowls have a tendency to flare. To counteract this, I worked the finishing garter and the cast off in a smaller needle size.
The single colour sample was knitted in Stylecraft Special Chunky (100% Premium Acrylic) in colourway 1203 Silver. The two-colour sample was knitted in Malabrigo Chunky (100% Merino Wool) in colourways 362 Under the Sea and 036 Pearl.
