Product Details
Fall is coming and what better way to prepare than to wrap yourself in a cozy brioche wrap. This asymmetrical wrap, or poncho, is knitted using the brioche technique. The wrap is worked in one large rectangle, folded in half lengthwise, then seamed part way along the side. The pattern along the top of the wrap is half of the pattern along the bottom of the piece, but is reversed at the half way point, so that when the piece is seamed the patterns along the top and bottom match.
Although gauge information is given, it is more important that you like the fabric than be exact on the gauge.
The pattern is written for one size, but it can easily be adjusted to be longer, wider, or smaller. The pattern includes information on how to adjust the size. I used approximately 650 yards of each color, so adjust if you change the size. Choose 2 colors with a good contrast to show off the pattern. The sample is shown in The Farmer's Daughter's Foxy lady, but you can use any fingering weight yarn.
