Product Details
A neat fitting hat with ponytail hole and shaped brim which can be worn folded up or down.
As the main section of the hat is worked sideways, row gauge is more important than stitch gauge for the correct fit.
The hat is worked entirely in garter stitch and shaped with short rows. Slipped stitch short rows are used in the instructions, but any method of short rows will work.
The brim section is worked in short rows and has both written instructions and an explanatory schematic. 8 stitch markers are needed to ensure that you are not endlesslessly counting, small loops of waste yarn will work just as well as purchased markers.
The instructions are given for one size, with options to make the hat larger or smaller given at the end of the pattern.
