Bryony has a fitted back and cascade front that creates an effortless casual chic. Deceptively easy to make, Bryony can be worn loose or with a belt and when layered, has a simple look of sophistication. The ribbed detail on the back gives an added extra detail to make this a striking garment. Fantastic project for novice knitters to gain confidence but with enough structural detail to keep accomplished knitters interested. Knitted on 5mm straight needles (although circular needles are recommended due to the number of stitches). Tension: 18 sts and 23 rows to 10 cm square over Stocking Stitch using 5mm needles (measured after light steaming). Photographed in the colour Alpaca Copper. Knitted in Purl Alpaca Designs 100% pure alpaca Fine yarn. A substitute yarn is shown below.
