Product Details
The Bucket Full of Sunshine Hat is an updated, modern version of the classic, timeless granny square bucket hat. Made popular in the 1970s, it’s made a re-appearance and has become one of the most popular granny square hat designs.
The hat is made in 3 sections:
The top of the hat is a flat circle worked in continuous rounds,
The 4 granny squares are joined in a ring to form the body of the hat.
The brim is added once the sections are sewn together.
Yarn: Approximately 200-300yd in 3 colors The sample was made in Lion Brand “Pima Cotton” - 1 skein of each color
Main color (MC): Stone #149I
Contrasting color A (CA): Mineral Yellow #159S
Contrasting color B (CB): Pewter #152B
Any worsted weight yarn will work although using something other than 100% cotton worsted may slightly alter the finished size.
