Product Details

This is the first pattern I designed! I made many hats using it. 

A one-ball project, ideal for practising cable technique!

SIZE:

Adult small/medium

To fit head circumference: 21-22” (54-56 cm)

Length from brim to top: 8,4” (21 cm) approx.

MATERIALS:

Yarn: 1 skein of Rowan Pure Wool Aran (suggested) 100 g. For the project I used: 150 – 160 yards / 137 - 146 m (80 – 86 g). You can choose an Aran or a Worsted yarn

*Needles and other notions: *US 5 (3,75 mm) and US 7 (4,5 mm) 16-inch (40 cm) or 20-inch (50 cm) circular needles and US 7 (4,5 mm) dpn needles (optional). Stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle.

GAUGE:

** **21 stitches x 32 rows in larger needles: 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) in cable pattern.

Double pointed needles are optional; they are for knitting the crown of the hat, but you can use circular needles instead, in magic loop technique.
