Product Details
Cabo Verde is an asymmetric triangular shawl worked in the Tunisian crochet entrelac technique. Each element of the shawl is small enough to place all of your stitches on a regular crochet hook.
The shawl is worked sideways from a corner with a base row of triangles placed along one side of the shawl. The remaining rows consist of square and triangle elements which decrease as you crochet to the other corner of the shawl. The narrow border and a saw-tooth edging are added to the shawl after finishing the body.
The pattern assumes basic familiarity with Tunisian crochet, specifically how each row is worked as two separate passes and how to work the Tunisian simple stitch. Find Tunisian crochet glossary at www.msweaver.com/tutorials/tunisian-crochet/.
