Product Details
In comedy, a callback is a joke that refers to something said earlier in the performance. In shawl knitting, this Callback is a long back and forth tale of stockinette and reverse stockinette, punctuated by a graphic I-cord, and ending in a lush ruffle that repeats the main colour.
Choose a fingering weight yarn that has good drape and feels next-to-skin soft that has a matching mohair. The graphic I-cord will pop best if a solid colour is used for the body and ruffle.
You’ll need a Main Colour (MC) 750 y/685 m of fingering weight For the I-cord you’ll need 20 y/18 m for each of Contrast Colour 1 (CC1) and Contrast Colour 2 (CC2); for the ruffle (CC3) you’ll need 330 y/300 m of mohair or other fluffy laceweight yarn that matches the MC.
