Product Details
The Camaret socks are inspired by a picturesque village in Brittany, France, called Camaret-sur-Mer. It has a small fishing port and is located directly on the Atlantic Ocean. When I was designing the pattern the colours of the yarns reminded me of the sea and I was thinking of this unique and very special region of France.
This beginner-friendly sock design is worked cuff down. The pattern is a variaton of the classic broken rib and creates a simplistic yet classy look while the ribbing ensures a comfortable fit. It can be worked with two colours where one colour is used as a contrast for the heel, cuff and toe. The second option is to knit the whole sock with one colourway.
