Made in 2 long panels and seamed together, this cardigan works up quickly and uses a lightweight thin Aran yarn to achieve maximum drape. The yarn used is Stylecraft Grace and the tension(gauge) is 4.5 x 3tr (3dc) groups and 8.5 rows to 10cm (4in). If you are substituting yarn, ensure you choose one with similar metres per gram. Cygnet Sugar Spun and Hobbii Fluffy Day are good alternatives. Not a fan of Candy Canes? Make it in Cygnet Sugar Spun shades 'Floating Island' and 'Cobweb' to embrace your inner Beetlejuice!
