Candy Granny Square Blanket

This blanket is created by crocheting one large granny square motif consisting of over 40 rounds in different colours. This pattern is suitable for beginner level crocheters and beyond. It requires knowledge of basic crochet stitches and basic crochet terms. Yarn used for this pattern is acrylic yarn in Double Knit (DK) weight, however this pattern can be worked in any alternate yarn weight using the relevant hook size suggested by the manufacturer, for the yarn chosen. Please note that using a different weight yarn will affect the amount of yarn needed and the size of the finished blanket. I have used Paintbox Simply DK yarn in pastel colours, but you can use any DK yarn in any colours you like, and the possible combinations are endless!
