Baby knit with 3-dimensional leaves. Each of 4 square pieces of the blanket is worked from corner to corner in the leaf, lace, and garter stitches. The entire blanket (incl. edging) measures approximately 34"x34" (87x87cm); each of 4 squares (not incl. edging) measures 16''x16" (41x41cm). Recommended yarn: 4 balls Cascade Yarns Anthem Chunky Acrylic (218 yds/200 m, 7.05 oz/200 g per ball) or same yardage of other acrylic bulky (5) yarn. Or, this blanket may be worked in lighter weight yarn (worsted or DK) using appropriate needles. The size of each square will be smaller, and you will make a smaller blanket. Total amount of lighter weight yarn you will need is approximately 30-32 oz/850-900 g.
