Mosaic crochet style scarf with plaited ends - Mosaic Crochet looks really difficult but it is actually so easy to do and the results are incredible This pattern has easy to follow instructions and is suitable for any crocheter who is able to do the UK double crochet (US single crochet) and UK treble crochet (US double crochet) stitches as well as how to chain You can adjust the size and could even make it into a blanket if you keep repeating the pattern or I am writing more mosaic scarf patterns which when put together will make a blanket of different patterns - this is a work in progress It takes just 2 balls of 100g DK yarn and a 4.5mm crochet hook (if you are a very loose hooker go down to a 4mm hook) per scarf The effects are even more amazing when you use two contrasting colours and/or bright variegated yarn with black There are now lots of tutorials on U Tube on Mosaic Crochet if you need any more help This pattern takes you row by row through the full scarf
